PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Arlington, VA (Telework Subject to Approval)
SCOPE: The Maasai Group, LLC is seeking one (1) Junior Realty Specialist to support realty specialists, and OAD management in their performing programmatic functions, primarily regarding the market study, and analyses related to property acquisition, disposal and other transactions associated with the Office’s programs
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- This position will require an Active Secret Clearance.
- Education: Junior Realty Specialist / Technical Advisor IV – a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of experience; (or) four (4) years of experience.
- Maintains data and records of surveys of foreign market conditions and analyzes this data to develop strategies for the timely sale, exchange, or redevelopment of the Department’s overseas properties
- Performs due diligence activities, collects information for acquisition efforts, and applies analytical and evaluative techniques of real estate management to review, contrast, and summarize information.
- Monitors progress of Office activities and prepares weekly/monthly reports for OAD and PRE management and for Program Performance Reviews on the status of various real estate projects.
- Prepares reports, briefings, and studies as necessary and is responsible for the collection, interpretation, and analysis of the quantitative and qualitative data required to produce these documents, including the collection, analysis, and reporting of data necessary to support OBO's benchmarking program for its real estate programs.
- Monitors progress and prepares reports and spreadsheets for the Office Director and Division Chiefs on the status of acquisitions, sites under negotiation, and purchased properties.
- Develops supporting materials for projects and staff for the real estate work performed in the Office and reports on milestones being reached.
- Conducts moderately difficult real estate research or reviews external sources for relevant real estate information and as needed, populates, and organizes in a repository for the Office.
- Proactively reviews external sources for relevant real estate market studies and populates and organizes a market study repository.

DECISION MAKING/JUDGEMENT: This position involves projects and/or assignments requiring considerable decision-making authority regarding procedures, processes, plans, and schedules. Ability to work independently or in a team setting is necessary.
