Building Services Supervisor Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Schedule, plan, and assign work orders as needed both ad hoc and planned maintenance requests.
- Coordinate services with outside vendors, review proposals, oversee scheduling and logistics as needed.
- Coordinate scheduling of various building inspections related to life safety systems, HVAC system, and other building components.
- Monitor materials inventory and order stock or one off items as needed. Keep accurate records of any expenses and report them accordingly.
- Act as departmental liaison with residents or other department supervisors and always maintain a helpful and professional demeanor.
- Train department staff in regards to commonly accepted maintenance techniques as well as new procedures as needed.
Skillset Requirements:
- Must be able to compile simple spreadsheets in Excel for tracking various data points.
- Must be able to use a PC for ordering materials, inputting work orders, inputting schedules, and communicating with residents and staff.
- Must be familiar with using a tablet for monitoring, inputting, and closing out work orders.
- Prefer experience with understanding regulatory requirements related to senior living environments.
Experience:
2 years of management
5 years of maintenance
