The Mayo Hotel is seeking a candidate to join the team in their Corporate Office. As we grow, we are excited to add a position to our team to fill an Accounting and Marketing Assistant position. This role will working directly with our CEO to complete an array of tasks and responsibilities daily. Our company is a fast paced and professional organization with growth and excitement! This position requires some consistent daily tasks to be complete, but other times each day will vary based on needs to business and CEO. Being highly skilled at details, organization and ability to be self-taught is a must to excel at this position. The ability to be creative, problem solve and think creatively are required of this position. This position allows for great potential to grow in one’s career and knowledge of business operations. Previous Work Experience OR College Degree is required in one of the following areas:
Business Degree (any focus)
Accounting
Bookkeeping
Marketing
Customer Service
Hospitality

Live Documents
Canva (Preferred)
QuickBooks (Preferred)
Any hotel operating system (Preferred)
Tasks to include, but not limited to the following:
Reviewing reports, emails, etc.. reporting to CEO
Emails
Creating Email marketing campaigns
Creating company signage, communications, etc…
Purchasing/quotes
Auditing the hotel’s activity daily by reviewing reports and entering information into excel
Creating Excel Templates
Other marketing tasks as assigned
Assisting with company store and merchandising
Assisting CEO with all tasks
Phone calls
Organization
Handling Payment
Handling Cash
