Role Overview:
As a Mobility Technician at The Mobility Van Store, you will play a crucial role in customizing, maintaining, and repairing mobility vans and equipment to meet the unique needs of our customers. You will work closely with our sales and customer service teams to ensure that each mobility solution is tailored to enhance the customer's quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair mobility equipment, including wheelchair lifts, ramps, and hand controls in vans and other vehicles.
• Conduct detailed assessments of vehicles to determine the best mobility solutions based on individual customer needs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring they understand how to safely use and maintain their mobility equipment.
• Collaborate with the sales team to offer insights and technical advice that aid in the customization process.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance services performed on each vehicle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mobility technology and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in the installation and maintenance of mobility equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mobility Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of vehicle modification and mobility equipment.
• Technical degree or certification in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in challenging situations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical customers.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• A compassionate and patient approach, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mobility issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
