What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales and Marketing Representative position at The Modern Vender?
Our client is currently looking to add additional team members to their sales and marketing division. They are looking to hire an enthusiastic sales and marketing representative to their already growing team. This individual will focus on sales and marketing tactics for online, field, and vender marketing tactics. This role requires travel around the local territory and within a 25 mile radius. Working with new and existing customers one on one. You will work independently and with other team members in your department or campaign. These campaigns include technology & telecommunications.
Responsibilities of the Sales and Marketing Representative:
- Implement sales tactics and marketing strategies in order to acquire new customers on behalf of their various clientele and campaigns they manage
- Daily sales goals & customer acquisition
- Learn POS system
- Work independently & with team members
- Assist with product launches, and handle any new promotional materials for guerilla marketing tactics.
- Use a tablet / and or computer for all customer sales
- Educate customers on new products and services in the local market
- Stay up to date on market trends and on competitor products / services
Qualifications of a Sales and Marketing Representative:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Can handle small team management
- Associates Degree or 3 years or relevant experience
- Reliable transportation
- Full time availability / 1 weekend field day required
- Experience with Microsoft products
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Self starter seeking career growth
- Ability to obtain and adapt to new information quickly
- Ability to work under pressure in a goal oriented role
