GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a hardworking Accounting Associate to join our team and assist in bookkeeping and accounting tasks for up to 15 clients. This part-time, or full-time, position will be both remote and in-person with flexible hours. It offers a great opportunity for growth while being part of a fun and supportive team. Join us!
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle billing processes including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Enter accounting-related information into business logs.
Monthly or Quarterly Review of client financial statements for accuracy
Enter accounting-related information into business logs.
Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements and executive summaries
Aid with Audits or forecasting
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Experience:
1 year of experience
Certifications:
Must be QuickBooks ProAdvisor certified or become certified within 2 weeks of employment.
Other:
Microsoft Office
Google Workspace (a plus)
Asana (a plus)
QuickBooks
Must have a reliable internet connection
KEY SKILLS:
In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
Strong understanding of US tax regulations.
Ability to work independently.
