Business Analyst

Our Customer is a software vendor of cloud-based ERP that practices in human capital management and financial management applications. They offer products and services that allow customers to oversee time tracking, procurement, employee data, financial accounting, and expense management at any time and anywhere. We are seeking a Business Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This ideal candidate needs to be passionate about implementing programs and best practices leveraging technology and data to influence business decisions.

What You’ll Do:
You will work on key programs in the Procurement Center of Excellence.
You are responsible for collaborating with internal GPO partners to: operationalize and support key programs through project execution, reporting and analytics, and stakeholder engagement.
This role sits within the Global Procurement Office (GPO) and would report to the Senior Manager, Supplier Programs.

Must Haves:
5 years experience in Program Management, Data Analytics, Reporting, or Project Management roles
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, or similar.
Deep understanding of the Source-to-Pay process. Experience working in a Procurement organization preferred.
Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the ‘bigger picture.
Ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings.
Demonstrable understanding of business requirements gathering (e.g., identifying and mapping business needs to application capabilities).
Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking and business curiosity, including advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong ability to work with complex and detailed data to drive insights and decisions.
Self-starter and able to work in teams and/or individually.
Proactive, result-oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deliverables.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent degree required.
Hours & Location
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer's Pleasanton, CA, Atlanta, GA, or Salt Lake City, UT location once it is deemed safe to do so.
