Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters.
- Handle cases involving divorce, timesharing, paternity, child support, alimony, property division, domestic violence, modifications, post-judgment actions, and other related issues.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and court orders.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on changes in family law legislation.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed about the status of their cases.
- Work collaboratively with the legal team to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Ensure compliance with legal ethics and professional standards.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Florida Bar Association.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law in Florida.
- Proven track record of successfully handling family law cases.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy abilities.
- Compassionate and client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
