Logistics & Customer Relationship Manager

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a small but fast-growing animal health and nutrition company based in West Chester, OH! They were founded in 2010 by MIT chemists to innovate mineral science and reduce the food chain's impact on climate change. They're currently looking for someone with outstanding communication and organization skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with a rapidly growing business.
As the Logistics & Customer Relationship Manager , you will act as the main point of contact daily with customers as well as logistics companies to arrange product shipments and to keep customers informed of their order status, answer inquiries, problem solve and build a long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationship.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
Organizing movement of products to customers from Point A to Point B within North America
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
Negotiate with shippers to get the best rate while meeting the customers expectations
Interact with customers and shippers to ensure the best possible experience including thorough updates throughout the sales cycle
Keep accurate records of sales, inventory and shipping data
Operations support including inventory management and other ad hoc projects related to logistics and supply chain management

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Superb problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
The ability to manage multiple projects at once
Strong comfort with math and numbers
Experience with logistics is a major plus
Interested applicants must have a passion for customer service and making peoples' days. To give you an example, recently, because a shipment arrived a day late to a customer in Vancouver, we found a local restaurant there to deliver lunch for the whole office at the client site that spelled out the company's name in pepperonis on pizzas.
