Basic Function: The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in all areas of the club facilities. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned.
Essential duties and responsibilities: The following job duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
- Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
- Clean windows and glass doors
- Change of all filters for HVAC as required
- Maintains the clubhouse grounds, parking lots, swimming pool and other recreational areas.
- Pressure clean the club and surrounding areas.
- Replenishes supplies such as ice, paper good and equipment when necessary.
- Assists with the preparation of special functions, parties, tournaments, etc. including installing decoration, constructing display pieces, setting up chairs and tables.
- Clean and maintain the boat docking area.
- Under direction of the Director of Maintenance, assist Members with requests as they apply to Facilities.
- Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
- Electrical, carpentry, and pool maintenance experience are a plus.
- Strong communication and cooperative skills.
- Positive interpersonal, customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge and Certificates: HVAC, plumbing certifications preferred but not required
Experience: Prior maintenance experience preferred
Physical Demands of Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met and/or encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Requires indoor and outdoor work.
- Schedule and times are usually set but may vary occasionally.
- While performing duties of the job, employee is required to stand, stoop, bend, and reach overhead.
- Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee is required to regularly kneel or crouch, bend, reach overhead and walk.
- Must be able to pull and lift up to forty (40) pounds regularly and occasionally up to sixty (60) pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate with periods of medium to high noise, dependent on the job performed (noise canceling headphones provided).
Schedule:
- Schedule is 10am to 6pm Wednesday through Friday, 8am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
- On call maintenance for all facilities, 24/7, on a rotating basis
