Production and Design Assistant

Are you passionate about craftsmanship and creativity? The Nostalgia Company is seeking a part-time Production and Design Assistant to join our team.

At The Nostalgia Company, we specialize in crafting premium keepsakes for priceless memories. With a focus on sustainability and artisan craftsmanship, we take pride in our meticulously designed products, crafted from responsibly sourced hardwoods. As a part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the production and design process. You'll also gain access to resources like Notre Dame's Innovation Lab and the chance to experience and learn entrepreneurship in the products and goods sector.

Responsibilities:

• Designing a variety of products for our clients and our online store
• Using woodworking equipment to prepare boards for the laser
• Operating a high-watt laser cutter with precision and care
• Sanding and finishing a variety of products with attention to detail
• Creating product listings and managing inventory
• Packing and shipping orders
• Assisting with various tasks related to production and design

Requirements:

• Passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Communication and organizational skills
• Prior experience with laser equipment or production is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
• Woodworking: 1 year (Preferred)
