Exciting Opportunity for a Pastry Chef in our newly built state-of-the-art kitchen in South Sarasota at a Private Platinum Country Club!

Join us on the journey towards the grand opening in September of 2024 of our dynamic new kitchen, bar and restaurant located in South Sarasota, Florida in a private gated community. We are currently seeking a talented Pastry Chef to lead the pre-launch preparations. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the creation of a dessert menu where you will be able to exercise your creativity and work closely with our Executive Chef.
This dynamic team player will be an experienced Pastry Chef with a flair for crafting innovative and original recipes as well as putting unique and modern spins on classic desserts. Your role will include baking for a wide variety of goods, such as cakes, cookies, pies, breads and other assorted pastries for a la carte dining rooms, club functions and special orders. Candidate qualifications:
Ideal candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in private clubs or hospitality venues with a strong knowledge of baking production principles as well as baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless, etc.)
Certificate or diploma from a recognized bakery and pastry culinary arts training or degree program is required. The candidate must be available to workdays, evenings, weekends and holidays. Candidates require a polished, professional manner and enthusiasm for the private club environment, and possess excellent communication skills. Exceptional customer orientation and the ability to work with others.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role requires lifting to 50 pounds and standing for long periods of time.
