Job Description
The Ōnin Group is looking for an IT Support Agent to join our wonderful, wacky IT/Support Team in Nashville, TN. Our department supports both the tech and operational needs of a growing staffing company, and we are searching for someone that loves people and has a positive, upbeat personality to support our Ōninites (our internal employees) on all aspects of the day-to-day IT support activities including system/user administration, onboarding procedures, employee tracking system, phone systems, and internal networks.
Here are some of the things you may be doing:
- Providing our internal employees (Ōninites), external employees (Teammates) and clients with amazing service
- Supporting, repairing and maintaining hardware used by users throughout the country including desktops, laptops, printers, and phones
- Performing inventory and user administration tasks
- Training Ōninites (our internal employees) on the use of software and hardware
- Troubleshooting software and hardware issues with Ōninites using remote support tools
- Responding to Ōninites support requests regarding any questions or issues via phone and our ticketing system, Zendesk
- Communicating needs of Ōninites and their feedback with internal teams to improve our technology, systems and processes
- Traveling, as needed, to provide in person branch training or support to our field Ōninites
- Participating in additional projects needed to support the day-to-day IT needs of our company

Communication and relationship building skills are important as you will be working with a variety of people - internal teams, field Ōninites, Teammates (our external employees) and potentially clients. We are an IT department and this is a technical role, so strong computer proficiency and interest in how technology can help solve problems is required, and a familiarity with Google applications, user administration and networking is a plus. We have a great office near downtown Nashville, and we will need you there from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with some on call hours (and be available for overtime when needed).
