GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Schedule patients for tests internally, with OIP and external providers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Scheduling patients for tests.
- Instruct patients about the MRI & CT Machines and what to wear for the test.
- Scheduling patients for diagnostic tests, including bone scans, MRI, CT, EMG/NCS, ultrasounds, etc.
- Completing all appropriate screening sheets to schedule.
- Reviewing and confirming patients screening sheets to ensure they can have an MRI.
- Scheduling patients for follow-up appointments after tests.
- Follow physician protocols for scheduling appointments.
- Other duties as assigned – i.e., working out of the virtual tank.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Requires a high school diploma.
- Prefer one year of prior surgery scheduling experience in a healthcare facility setting.
