About The Outreach Team
The Outreach Team is a premier national field firm. We partner with organizations working to solve some of the biggest problems facing our society from protecting human rights to fighting climate change and help them build the resources they need to make an impact.
We are a people-powered enterprise; our campaigns are effective because we hire diverse teams of talented people, invest in our staff, and treat them well.
We are hiring Field Organizers to canvass in various locations across the country. Field Organizers will talk to voters and educate them on the importance of voting in the upcoming election.
Organizers will work in pairs to cover 13 different targeted geographic regions by going door-to-door to engage in conversations with the community.
All Organizers are expected to work independently while reporting to the Lead Organizer in each state.
About the position :
Now more than ever, it is imperative that people uplift their voices at the ballot box to vote for the change that they want to see in their communities.
To ensure a high voter turnout later this year, we are partnering with the National Urban League to mobilize voters across the country as part of the Reclaim Your Vote campaign.
Our effort will engage voters across the country to increase voter turnout and empower our communities to make their voices heard to drive change where they live.
We will connect with voters by going door-to-door and encouraging them to participate in the upcoming elections.
Mobilizing registered voters is a critical step to ensuring that elected officials reflect the diversity and wishes of the communities they serve.
Too often, community members are invested in elections but lack the motivation or knowledge to vote. Our vote is our voice;
it decides our future and shapes the world around us. In order to defend Democracy, demand diversity, and defeat poverty- we must vote.
Through our efforts, we will empower thousands of voters across the country to cast their ballots and make their voices heard this election cycle.
We are hiring immediately. This position will run through November 5th 2024, with opportunities to extend.
