What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Server position at The Ox?

The Lead Server is responsible for the overall maintenance of the space, following directives put in place by management, and the beverage director.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, implementing and maintaining all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Work with members of management in all aspects of coaching, and overall development of the team to create a positive, productive, and professional work environment.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by consistently offering professional, warm but also a laid back approach to service; guiding and motivating the team in creating an exceptional guest experience through just being yourself.
- Daily walk-throughs and checklists to ensure proper setup, breakdown, and overall care and cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
- Support ownership in setting and meeting operating goals and objectives according to the restaurant's mission and strategy.

Applicants must have at least 2-3 years of hospitality experience. We have a very wine focused beverage program, all levels of experience are welcome to apply, however you must commit the time to study outside of our scheduled classes, and tastings.
