OUTSIDE ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Indiana Auto & RV Magazine is looking for an outside advertising sales representative for greater Indianapolis, covering several counties. Our popular 30-year-old magazine is picked up by thousands of readers every week.

Our advertisers depend on us to deliver their message to our massive audience. We offer effective advertising solutions across three states to dealers of cars, equipment, RV’s, powersports and many more business types. The selected candidate will be responsible for the sales success of a designated territory by building their own customer base along with maintaining current accounts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• At least 2 years of sales experience
• Advertising sales experience is a plus
• Ability to build long term customer relationships
• Earnest desire to see your clients succeed with the solutions you sell
• Creative thinking with the ability to customize advertising solutions that meet each customer’s needs
• Must be comfortable prospecting new customers every week
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to navigate deadline pressures
• Friendly, persuasive personality with demonstrated ability to bring in sales
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated

Pay: $35,000 - $65,000 based on commission and bonuses

Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Drug Screening and background check required in accordance with legal regulatory practices.
