What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Reliable Dog Groomer Wanted position at The Paws Gurus, LLC?
We are looking to partner with professional dog groomers to work as a team in delivering undivided full grooming services to our clients. Part-time with the possibility of full-time as clientele grows.
The dog groomer will provide services to clients, by appointment only. You can bring your own clients as well. We expect you to be responsible for the delivery of safe, fanatical, devoted, personalized,attentive, grooming services.
Professional Dog Groomer:
Compensation: Commission plus tips.To Start: part-time with unlimited potential for the right driven dedicated person!
Responsibilities:
-Knowledgeable of dog breeds and their hair styles
-Provide clients with an estimate of grooming cost and length of service per appointment.
-Team up with receptionist to coordinate appointments and communication with clients.
-Provide grooming from head to paws-including: bathing, drying, dematting, nail trimming, anal gland expression, haircuts, paws trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, haircuts with scissors, etc…
-Ask and consult with clients before beginning of the appointment, the work desired on their pups.
-Advice clients of the services needed for the pet.
-Take detailed notes of the grooming work performed, including but not limited to before and after photos.
-Monitor health and well-being of pets before, during and after grooming services rendered.
-Keep timely appointment schedules.
-Be organized and cleaned.
-Comfortable with safely handling dogs of all sizes, shapes, and temperaments.
-Maintaining the cleanliness of the grooming room through the day. You will receive a cleaned grooming space, you are expected to leave the grooming room cleaned as well at the end of the day.
Experience:
- Knowledgeable of dog breeds and their hair styles
-Knowledgeable of basic dog care and emergency procedures.
-At least 1 years of professional grooming experience
-Must have your own tools
-Grooming School qualifications
-Extremely friendly, and patient, cheerful personality
-Ultimate love for animals
-Animal Care and Handling Certificate( preferred but not required)
