The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for projects and production support for our healthcare applications and work with team to develop and support Phia custom applications, websites, integrations and Report development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create, modify and maintain database structures such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions and triggers
- Trouble shoot client issues with respect to PDM, CMS, TPS and OP application and ensure high priority issues are resolved according to our client service level agreements
- Use technologies such as: Tableau, Adobe ColdFusion, AngularJS, Hibernate, and Git, to perform routine code updates and troubleshoot errors within the system
- Troubleshoot and provide corrective solutions for identified database related issues using either Microsoft SQL or Oracle SQL database language or related tools
- Work individually or as a member of a team to design, develop, implement and maintain software systems
- Work collaboratively with development teams in a highly dynamic environment.
- Work with several departments Client Services and Implementation in implementing and maintaining customer production data.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field plus 7 years of experience with Computer Science, Information Technology or related
- Minimum 5 years experience with Tableau, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular JS, ColdFusion, Hibernate or similar softwares
- Expertise writing semantic, modular front end code using Adobe ColdFusion, AngularJS, Hibernate or similar coding applications
- Knowledge of responsive design practices
- Knowledge of Tableau reporting tool and data analytics concepts
- Experience writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Experience with web server technology (Apache or IIS)
- Experience to troubleshoot data related issues and provide clear and reasonable resolutions
- Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices.
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
Sitting at workstation for prolong periods of time. Extensive computer work. Workstation may be exposed to overhead fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Fast paced work environment. Operates office equipment including personal computer, copiers, and fax machines.
