The Market Partner drives operational excellence through coaching and developing Chefs while driving sales-building goals and fiscal responsibility for each restaurant. Directs all activities required to achieve market goals, to include sales and profit objectives, new and on-going training of Chef Teams, and managing payroll and operating expenses, in alignment with the Piada Group’s Core Values and strategic objectives.

- Responsible for ensuring operational excellence and execution of Piada’s specifications and recipes, through regular restaurant site visits.
- Establishes the goals and objectives for the assigned restaurant locations to ensure their delivery according to the company’s strategic objectives and core values.
- Responsible for on-going chef/leadership development in profit and loss statements, operational execution, labor cost and food cost, safety, compliance and culinary expectations.
- Achieves financial sustainability by preparing monthly/yearly forecasts and budgets for Piada Partners and Chefs.
- Ensures full management staffing at each restaurant through coaching, developing and maintaining a strong bench of Partners, Chefs and Supervisors.
- Responsible for the communication, training and facilitation of all company initiatives, rollouts, and promotions.
- Coordinates with Piada Partner & Grassroots Ambassador to grow SSS within respective territory.
- Ensures acceptable restaurant performance in all health inspections.
- Assists in planning all new restaurant openings by providing support and coordinating all details involved in the process, as required.
- Manages the performance of the company’s staff and Chef Teams through effective key performance indicators, targets, and goal setting, as appropriate.
- Conducts performance evaluations and focuses on talent development and workforce planning.
- Conducts orientation sessions and arranges on-the-job training for new Chefs.
- Coordinates with the Training Department on all Team Members continuing education and training programs.
- Addresses and resolves any Chef and/or Team Member issues with People Services guidance and support.
- Creates and upholds company culture and Core Values within each restaurant.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Minimum 3-5 years of management and leadership experience in a multi-unit management role with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but may be replaced with solid experience.
- Adept written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal and organization skills.
- Solid financial and analytical skills with experience driving sales and profits while developing people.
- Handles high pressure job demands while maintaining composure and exhibiting sound judgment.
- ServSafe Certification
- Sets realistic objectives and goals, and implements the necessary steps to achieve them.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for management recruitment, selection, and training.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local and state health and safety code compliance.
- Knowledge of computer software including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
