Piada Italian Street Food is leading the nation’s fine fast casual movement behind an intense passion for exceptionally better food and genuine hospitality.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting and growing restaurant sales, traffic, and profitability through the planning and execution of effective and efficient marketing plans that drive strategic community investment and supports overall Marketing goals in conjunction with Piada Italian Street Food’s corporate goals and brand plan. Additional responsibilities include: creating campaigns, reporting, budget oversight, interdepartmental communication/collaboration, and local event execution.
- Responsible for the oversight of internal and external marketing communications, ownership and management of the business plan, demand plans, pricing, and P&L.
- Responsible for tracking and delivering results against a clear measurement framework.
- Leverage marketing budgets to produce high ROI community investments that drive Piada’s business objectives.
- Serves as the primary marketing contact ensuring timely, proactive, and seamless communication.
- Strengthen and grow community presence and a strong and consistent brand identity.
- Works with management team and marketing team to align strategies and plans.
- Creates and executes New Restaurant Opening (NRO) plan in conjuction with operations and Marketing Teams.
- Works with development and operations teams during NRO process to build pre-opening buzz and achieve fully staffed, on-time openings.
- Effective handling of guest feedback.
- Partners to develop and execute national campaigns and promotions.
- Manages Marketing Interns. Leads by example and demonstrates positive, honest, fair and inclusive leadership.
- Creates and manages reports on marketing budget, forecasts, expectations and deliverables.
- Responsible for overseeing and partnering to execute local restaurant marketing events (fundraiser nights, tasting events, etc.), and local community opportunities (large events, local sponsorships, donations).
- Follows all employee handbook policies.
- Performs other duties as needed.
- Up to 50% travel may be required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- 1-2 years of successful marketing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing & Communications degree preferred) or equivalent experience in a marketing role
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and processes
- Field Marketing experience in a multi-unit restaurant /retail environment preferred
- General knowledge of core marketing concepts and competencies
- Knowledge and understanding of the following: brand and financial acumen, decision making, critical thinking, delegation, and community partnership
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required including the ability to hear, read, write, and speak English
- Must be computer literate and able to utilize Microsoft Office and general POS functions
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and remains flexible in completing tasks to meet the needs of the business
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Expert time management and project organizational skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once, in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
- Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self motivated with flexbility and adaptability
- Must be able to reach, bend, balance, and carry/lift up to 25-pounds
