Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize waste through effective inventory control
- Monitor food production to maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and seasonal menus
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Manage kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment by adhering to food safety regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of meals to customers
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or catering establishment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation
- Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
