Our client in Westwood, MA seeks a permanent Human Resources (HR) Director to join their growing team.

Must Haves:
- 10 years progressive HR experience including recruitment, employee relations, training & development, etc.
- Management experience
- Security or similar industry experience
- Comfortable working directly with employees and being a hands on HR team member
- Union experience
- Oversee the Human Resources function including implementation and administration HR processes and policies.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies including onboarding and retention.
- Hands on employee relations including coaching, investigations, disciplinary/termination meetings, etc.
- Handle succession planning, workforce development, training and development, performance management, etc.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies and structures that align with company goals.
- Ensure HR compliance with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Oversee and manage benefits open enrollment, Leave of Absence requests, and FMLA requests.
- Manage Unemployment/Worker’s Compensation and oversee union grievances.
