Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including food preparation, inventory control, and supervising kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes.
Duties:
- Plan and execute menus for daily meals, banquets, and catering events
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary requirements
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training and scheduling
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other departments, such as the Dietary Department, to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on creativity and innovation
- Experience in inventory control and cost management
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Familiarity with banquet operations is a plus
