We are now looking for experienced pet care professionals with great customer service abilities to join our team and ensure our clients receive top-notch care. Pet care and customer service experience are required for this position.
Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Greet clients and their pets and provide them with a warm and welcoming experience.
2. Collect necessary information and paperwork from clients for their pet's stay.
3. Manage reservations and scheduling for lodging, daycare, and grooming services.
4. Oversee and supervise the daily activities and interactions of the dogs in our care.
5. Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in our facility.
6. Keep accurate records of pet information, including medical history, feeding and medication schedules.
7. Monitor and report any changes in a pet's behavior or health to the appropriate staff.
8. Administer medications and provide basic grooming services as needed.
9. Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the pets.
10. Assist with training and socialization exercises for dogs.
11. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
12. Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
13. Continuously strive to improve and maintain the quality of our services.
Requirements:
1. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
2. Experience working in a pet care facility, such as a kennel, daycare or vet clinic.
3. Knowledge and understanding of different breeds, behaviors, and needs of dogs.
4. Ability to handle and control multiple dogs at once.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Basic understanding of animal health and first aid.
7. Ability to work in a team and independently.
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to handle difficult and sometimes stressful situations.
10. Proficiency in computer skills for scheduling and record keeping.
11. Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 150 pounds.
12. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
13. Passion for animals and their well-being.

The ideal candidate for the position of Assistant Manager at the Puppy Lodge must have a positive and friendly attitude towards both humans and animals. This person should possess exceptional customer service skills and be able to handle all interactions with clients and their pets in a professional and compassionate manner. They should also have a deep understanding of pet care and be able to provide helpful advice and support to pet owners.
In addition to these qualities, we expect the ideal candidate to be highly organized and detail-oriented. As the Assistant Manager, they will be responsible for managing appointments, answering phone calls and emails, and keeping track of important client information. They must also be able to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment, as the Puppy Lodge can get quite busy at times. We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, and has a passion for working with animals.
