As a Dining Room Attendant, you will be responsible for:
- Provide the highest level of customer services to our residents.
- Assist residents in completing their daily menu as needed, serve all residents drink of choice and cereal (breakfast) or fresh cut fruit/salad (lunch/supper).
- Have any special condiment needed per meal ready prior to meal being served at server table.
- Reset dining room after each meal ensuring tables, chairs, condiment holders, containers, and equipment (drink bar) are cleaned and sanitized.
- All dishes, silverware, and glasses/coffee cups must be removed from dining room, rinsed, and then run through dish machine before being properly put away.
- Refill all condiments on tables and drink bar, check and refill drink bar dispensers, refill ice dispensers.
- Roll silverware in cloth napkins to be placed at each table settings.
- Serving food and/or assisting residents.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dish room and dining room.
- Remove trash from dish-room and drink station area.
- Break down drink station machine nozzles to be cleaned at the end of each day.
- Any other duties assigned by dietary manager or administrator.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Texas Food Handles
- Customer Service experience
- Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to muti-task
- Geriatric Experience, preferred
- Experience in long-term care setting, preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.25 - $10.75 per hour
