What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Concierge position at The Retreat Spa?
The Retreat - a highly-rated, 11-year old day spa - is looking to hire an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed Spa Coordinator/Concierge who shares a passion for the spa and wellness industry. Prior experience in a customer service/scheduling/retail environment is required. Prior experience in a spa/personal service environment is ideal.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of solid communication, computer, and interpersonal skills, as well as a resourceful, can-do attitude. Availability on some mornings, some evenings and most weekends is required.
Other necessary qualifications:
- The ability to multi-task while remaining focused
- Remain calm under pressure with a smile
- Resourcefulness as it relates to problem solving
- The ability to "stand up" to peers on staff when necessary
- Take guidance and direction (constructive criticism) with a positive attitude
- The ability to assess essential duties verses important tasks and prioritize accordingly
