What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roofing Laborer / Repair Technician position at The Roofing Company Inc?
Job Duties/Requirements:
Have no fear of walking on roofs, driving a truck, and/or no issues lifting materials.
Pre-construction job site inspections - take photos of the property in its entirety, AC unit(s) facia and soffit as well as driveways and fences, load photos into the portal.
Interact with the homeowner before the job starts and conduct visual inspections of the property.
Deliver materials to a job site as needed to complete each job.
Remove all extra materials from the job site and return them to the suppliers / warehouse.
Ensure the job site has been magnet swept and properly cleaned and completion photos uploaded to portal.
Ensuring all on-site workers adhere to the health and safety regulations.
Implementing industry best practices and safety protocols.
Ensuring project completion as per the set timeline for each of the days scheduled jobs.
Communicating the progress report to the Project Coordinator.
Attending required on-site meetings or office meetings.
Maintain good public relations with customers.
Complete and maintain proper daily paperwork to ensure all work is completed per approved scope.
Ability to solve unforeseen dilemmas and problems on the job site as they occur and relay all pertinent information to the office.
Must be able to use computer software, able to critically think through problems! If you have the drive to get things done, we want to talk to you. No roofing or construction experience is required! Are you who we are looking for?
Paid holidays after 90 days (6 per year).
