GENERAL SUMMARY
Participates in all daily branch operations and assists customers with account management and other financial services. Provides timely and accurate completion of customer transactions and maintains records and cash balances branch, vault and teller cashes, orders cash for branch; opens and closes branch.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
- Greets all lobby customers and provides appropriate assistance in daily transactions, addresses inquiries, and resolves customer issues.
- Advises customers based on knowledge of the Bank’s consumer products and services.
- Performs basic transactions, accepts deposits and payments, cashes checks, and issues various checks.
- Prepares individual daily balance of teller transactions.
- Opens and services new and existing accounts.
- Meets with customers to discuss personal financial needs.
- Provides thorough customer service (account openings/changes/closings).
- Orders cash for branch, balances vault cash, and buys and sells cash from/to appropriate personal bankers.
- Opens and closes branch according to security procedures.
- Performs transaction overrides when necessary.
- Performs maintenance on employee accounts.
- Balances ATM daily.
- Participates in the Bank’s sales program.
- Participates in community groups/events for networking opportunities.
- Required to participate in trainings, and comply with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State banking laws and regulations.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- May assist in training Teller positions.
- Completes online training, as needed.
- Performs additional duties, as assigned.
Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m., Friday 8:15 a.m. - 6:15 p.m., and a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month, 8:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Salary : $39,100 - $49,500
