SCOPE: * The recruiter will perform duties to research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract diverse, highly skilled and capable talent to the organization guided by precedent and working within the limits of established boundaries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *
- Assist the Sr. Recruiter in managing the full-cycle recruitment process including but not limited to; job posting; sourcing; screening applications; scheduling, attending and conducting interviews; initiating/reviewing background checks, and making formal offers to potential staff.
- In collaboration with Sr. Recruiter and hiring managers, identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards and the needs of the organization.
- Maintain applicant tracking system to ensure updated and accurate.
- Attend various university or other campus recruiting events to build and attract a diverse talent pool at Seed Company
- Assist the Sr. Recruiter in managing the active and passive candidate pipeline.
- Assist Sr. Recruiter in providing recruiting analytics as needed to Human Resources leadership team.
- Research and review potential recruiting resources for process improvement as directed.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, regulations and company policies.
- Participate with other members of the Human Resources team to develop departmental initiatives as directed.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the applicant data.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes and policies.
- Lead and or participate in projects or task force groups which focus on issues having organization wide impact.
- Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: *
This job operates in a professional or home office environment within a highly collaborative, synergistic, high-paced team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: *
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Occasional exertion up to 10 pounds, lifting a box of paper, moving chairs, tables and sliding doors.

TRAVEL: *
This role will travel occasionally to attend University recruiting events.

QUALIFICATIONS*:

- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
- At least two years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment is required
- Experience with recruiting through external job boards including LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, really Recruiter, and others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems including applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to exhibit discretion in confidential situations
- Excellent written and verbal skills, including high attention to detail
- Builds strong and effective work relationships quickly
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work with multiple hiring managers.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
