Job Responsibilities:

1. Training and Professional Development:

- Learn individualized plans to work directly with students.

- Receive ongoing guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in the field.

2. Direct Student Support:

- Implement ABA techniques under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

- Provide one-on-one support to students in the school setting in areas including: academic support, activities of daily living (feeding, dressing, bathroom – as applicable), behavioral support, communication and sensory support, and development of play and social skills

- Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to motivate and encourage students in meeting their goals.

3. Data Collection and Progress Monitoring:

- Collect and record data using an online data platform (training provided).

- Collaborate with the team to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to help your students succeed.

4. Interdisciplinary Collaboration

- Collaborate with SLP’s, OT’s and Special Educators to create comprehensive treatment packages that meet a student where they are and supports their progress towards their goals.

5. Professional Development

- Maintain RBT credential in good standing with the BACB.

- Opportunities to attend clinical meetings (IEP meetings, parent trainings) to observe the role of a BCBA and assist in data presentation and progress reporting.

Qualifications:

- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in ABA or related field is a plus.

- Passion for creating a positive and inclusive therapeutic environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
