PANEL TECHNICIAN
We are looking for a Panel Technicianto join our Process Engineering Group.

This position provides an opportunity for a Panel Technician to join a reputable, industry-leading engineering consulting firm where their professional goals can be achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to understand control panel assembly requirements.
- Assemble control panels by mounting electrical components, such as relays, circuit breakers, transformers, and terminal blocks, onto panel backplanes or enclosures.
- Wire control panels by routing and terminating electrical conductors according to the wiring diagrams and industry standards.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of assembled control panels to ensure proper functionality.
- Travel to client sites during system installation and provide technical assistance during system start-up.
- Maintain a clean and organized assembly area, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored.
- Review project requirements and design specifications with controls engineer.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred candidates will have:
- Associate degree or Technical certification in electrical systems, electronics or a closely related field or are currently enrolled in a related program.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, drills, and multi-meters.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and other control system components a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
- Accountability for quality of work, project schedule, and budget
