Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff, managing food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of culinary dishes are served.
Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen operations and staff to ensure a smooth workflow
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Monitor food production to maintain quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment
Experience:
- Proven experience in shift management, team management, and leadership roles within a kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling, kitchen operations, and food service management
- Ability to oversee food production, maintain quality standards, and manage a restaurant kitchen effectively
- Excellent communication skills to work with staff, management, and vendors efficiently
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry
- Familiarity with menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
