What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Coordinator position at The Spa at Palmer House?
If you are a warm and inviting person who loves working with others and stays on top of spa trends, this job is for you. You will be the face, voice, and energy of the spa, executing exceptional guest experiences start to finish. You will handle day to day operations including maintaining schedules, cash register, booking appointments, facilitiating diamond level spa experiences, hosting events, and assist in inventory management. You will work with the spa team as well as hotel to ensure the guests are provided with “The Ultimate Spa Experience”. As the Spa coordinator you will respond to the Assistant Spa Director. Schedule will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10:00-7:00.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Maintains a professional presence on the Spa front desk.
- Acts as the ambassador of the Spa by greeting and welcoming all visitors.
- Assist in maintaining all spa areas (retail, reception, treatment rooms, closets, back room, restrooms, changing facilities, etc).
- Monitors the entire facility with thorough walkthroughs at opening and all available minutes until end of day.
- Maintains the soothing atmosphere of the Spa with appropriate smell, music and light to ensure the spa is “staged” and “photo ready”.
- Is familiar with all products and services offered to encourage sales.
- The Spa Coordinator is required to maximize the books by using smart booking techniques.
- Assists in any other areas as directed by the Spa manager.
- Being active on your feet - going where the need is.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
