What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Attendant position at The Spa at the Glen?
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to guests at all times, work well in a very fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, have exceptional communication skills. Our new team member will have a positive attitude, enjoy connecting with clients and be a great team player.
The Spa at the Glen is located at the Brea Mall and is a 12,000 sq ft full-service day spa with all of the amenities of a world-class day spa. We offer massage, body treatments, facials, waxing and nail services as well as a luxurious men’s and women’s spa with saltwater hot tub, eucalyptus steam room, and rainfall showers.
Job-Related Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the spa. ( stock towels and robes in lockers, empty laundry hampers, wipe down counters/mirrors, refill beverages throughout the spa, clean hairbrushes, refill spa products/paper supplies, take the trash out, restroom checks, and restocking restroom supplies)
- Complete Laundry Duties( loading washer/dryer, folding linens.)
- Greet all guests in a warm and welcoming manner and have a genuine interest in taking care of guests.
- Schedule services and assist Guests with any questions about their visit in person and over the phone.
- Explain spa services to guests.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Have impeccable phone etiquette.
- Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests; acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction; reports all glitches to Manager for further follow-up.
- Be proactive in regularly replenishing spa supplies throughout the spa for Guests.
- Provide and ensure a safe, friendly, and clean environment for each Guest.
- Be conscientious of the Guests' needs and surroundings.
- Check Guests in for their spa services and check out at the end of their stay.
- Sell products, gift cards and memberships using our point of sale system.
- Cross-promote services in all departments of the spa.
- Take ownership of resolving Guest concerns and/or issues with patience, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Balance cash drawers as needed.
- Communicate and listen effectively with Management, Supervisors, Employees, and Guests.
- Maintain a professional appearance by complying with the dress code.
- Be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and evenings.
