Shift: 4PM-Close
The Stand Restaurants is a fast-casual dining restaurant with 15 locations across Orange County, Los Angeles, and Houston Texas. We are growing fast, with plans to open 3-4 new locations per year. Our tagline "American Classics...Redefined" embodies our menu of high-quality classic American food. We're excited about our growth, and even more excited at the possibility of you joining our team!
We are Looking for cooks that have the following:

- Maintain a clean kitchen, attend to special requests, and keep guests happy
- An overwhelming desire to go above and beyond to provide a great experience to every guest by cooking and prepping amazing food
Things you can expect to do while working as a line cook
- Cross-training and working in multiple kitchen stations, including salads, fry, grill, and expo
- Preparing our amazing and simple recipes
- Following our build guides for building every item on our menu
- Ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen
- Fostering a friendly family environment
- Being a team player and showing efficient communication skills
- Maintaining a clean kitchen and attending to any special cleaning duties
- Superb knife skills are plus but not required
- Exemplifying our mission and culture
- Preparing food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Following recipes and presentation specifications
- Operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Cleaning and maintaining a station by practicing good safety and sanitation procedures and protocols
* Must be 18 years of age or older
Working Conditions
- Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly
- Repetitive bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Repetitive use of hands, including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of a step ladder
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including steam, high kitchen temperatures, humidity, freezers, refrigerators, indoor air conditioning and outdoor/patio conditions
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time hours available Shift: 4PM-Close
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation
- Competitive Pay : Up to $22.50
- Participation in The Stand tip pool, with average tips of approximately $3 - $4.50 per hour
