The Assistant Director or Director serves as a part of the team reporting to an Assistant Vice Chancellor in the Academic and Student Affairs Division, who in turn provides professional counsel and support to the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, the Chancellor, and the Board of Governors regarding a wide range higher education issues.
The Assistant Director or Director may provide support for system-level strategic planning and accountability, Board initiatives, matters related to academic degree program coordination and approval, and other assigned policy issues and program areas. The Assistant Director or Director conducts relevant policy research and analysis and provides ongoing oversight of assigned policy issues and program areas as needed. The Assistant Director or Director is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information on various projects in a concise format, both written and visual, that effectively communicates the information to leadership and the general public. The Assistant Director or Director creates and executes project work plans and revises plans, as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements; helps teams execute plans; creates and reviews high-level deliverables across projects in assigned areas; and effectively communicates relevant project information to stakeholders. This position does not directly supervise any employees.

Hiring Range
