Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The position (K0240456)
Delivers training in a variety of settings, including webinars and in-person events. Presentations may be solo or part of team training. Determines optimal class size and plans accordingly, given resource availability. Makes arrangements for any audiovisual equipment necessary for training, such as projectors and flip charts. Ensures feedback and evaluation is received at all events.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Develop medical assistance eligibility training. Creates lesson plans and modules using a variety of different formats, including web-based and instructor led training. Determine appropriate training methods for assigned trainings. Works closely with policy staff and other program staff to ensure content is accurate. Seeks and incorporates feedback into assigned lessons. Updates existing training modules and develops new material as necessary.

Education:
- High School, GED

Licensing & Certification:
- Valid Driver's License - Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State.

Minimum Qualifications:
- One year of experience in determining eligibility for KanCare Medical programs.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
- Proofreading, editing, attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Ability to interpret policy
- Ability to write clear instructions
- Ability to adapt communication to the audience
- Verbal communication/ public speaking
- Experience using the Kansas Eligibility Enforcement System (KEES)
- One year experience in training, teaching or other related field
