EVENTS MANAGER - STELLA HOTEL & BALLROOM
 
$2,000.00 Sign-On Bonus
Base Salary - $60,000.00 and Bonus Program
 
 
The Stella Hotel & Ballroom in Kenosha is looking for a full time Events Manager. If you are a highly detailed, motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and who is excited to provide a great guest experience, this could be the perfect position for you.

As the Events Manager on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
 
  • Work with clients to understand, identify and organize all event details.
  • Responsible for ensuring high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases of hotel events. 
  • Finalize confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication both written and personal contact with all hotel departments.
  • Prepare correspondence to customers, internal reports and files.
  • Communicate with relevant departments to ensure proper servicing of accounts.
  • Ensure all proper billing takes place, including deposits and final payments.
  • Participate in scheduled sales, food and beverage and all other related meetings as required.
  • Solicit new and develop existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals.
  • Represent the hotel at appropriate industry trade shows and conferences.
 
The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism or other related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience as an Events Manager or Coordinator required.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and communication.
  • Highly efficient and excellent organizational skills.
  • Dependability and regular attendance.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
