What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Fitter position at The Systems Group?
Location: Columbus, MS
Pay Rate: Up to $29/Hour
Hours: 48 Hours/Week
The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Structural Fitter teammate. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Structural Fitter Job Responsibilities:
- Run a cutting torch
- Plasma cutter
- Modify, fabricate, and install fabricated pieces from raw steel members

Structural Fitter Qualifications / Skills:
- Ability to do basic math– add and subtract fractions
- Ability to read a tape measure
Experience and Requirements:
- Previous structural fitting experience in an industrial setting is preferred
- OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
