The Tasty Table is an American restaurant in Ossining NY, serving Brunch and Dinner. We specialize in made from scratch food with outstanding service. We have something for everyone including vegans, vegetarians and those with gluten sensitivity.
We are looking for a Chef to join our team. The Chef will head the overall operations of back of house. This is a WORKING CHEF position. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: training staff when needed, managing inventory, managing food costs, and delivering consistent high quality food in a timely manner. Proper food handling, cleanliness and kitchen safety requirements are critical to success in this role. Creating weekly specials and adding seasonal items is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements
· Hands-on experience with fast paced yet quality restaurant
· Advanced knowledge of culinary and baking techniques
· Leadership skills
· Flexible upbeat personality and ability to remain calm during busy times
· Excellent time management abilities
· Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
· Familiarity with sanitation regulations
· Culinary school diploma preferred/ServSafe certified required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Weekly day range:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
