The University of Bridgeport is seeking candidates for multiple adjunct opportunities in their undergraduate Psychology program. Area of specialization within Psychology is open depending on the needs of the department in a given semester, but an interest/expertise in Clinical, Cognitive, and Developmental Psychology, as well as Statistics and Research Methodology is especially desired. Often our needs are for our on-ground program, but support for our online courses may be desired as well. When applying, in your cover letter, please describe your ability to teach in-person v. online, as well as what days and times (including nights and weekends) you would be generally available to teach.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MS/MA degree in psychology or a related field required (Ph.D/Psy.D/ABD preferred)
- Demonstrated skill in teaching in person and online settings.
- Demonstrated ability to use learning management software (e.g. Blackboard, Canvas).
- Demonstrated dedication to excellence in teaching and a commitment to high academic and professional standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A commitment to the academic, emotional, and social development of all students.
