Join UChicago Medicine, as a Clarity Report Writer in the Enterprise Architecture Department. This is a remote, work from home opportunity and you may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area.
In this role as a Clarity Report Writer, you will analyze, design, code, configure, debug, and document programs and interfaces.
Job Summary
The Clarity Report Writer devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. This person must be competent to work at the highest technical level in all phases of programming activities.
Essential Job Functions
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems
- Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents programs
- May be responsible for the completion of a phase of a project
- Provides guidance and training to less-experienced analysts/programmers
- May – under general direction – formulate and define system scope and objectives
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant certification in programming, computer science, healthcare, business management, or information systems
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with systems analysis, programming in one more languages, and technical design
- Minimum two years' experience in technical documentation writing
- Some healthcare experience required
- Epic certification
- Epic Clarity experience
- Experience with SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of healthcare experience
- Proven skills in problem solving
