What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Print Specialist position at The UPS Store?
The Digital Print Specialist is responsible for building relationships with customers to provide print solutions that exceeds their needs. The associate is expected to possess knowledge of Digital Printing with expertise in using * Adobe Suite (InDesign & Photoshop)* Microsoft office* . The Associate will be tasked with several priorities including, excellent customer service, preparing packages for shipment, operating printing equipment and communicating all offered services in the center.
The candidate should have sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes ownership of customer’s packing, shipping, able to lift 50 lbs and/or print problems and offers desirable solutions
- Produces/designs, proofs, and updates materials for print projects using Adobe and Microsoft Suite.
- Produces/designs, proofs, and updates materials for print projects using Adobe and Microsoft Suite.
- Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents
- Operates all equipment, software, and devices.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc.
