Job description
The UPS Store Assistant Center Manager assists the employer in running this retail location's day-to-day operations. He or she may be expected to open and close the center, assist in the management of productivity, ensure that the center's team provides world-class customer service to all customers, monitor cost control and expenses, and contribute to weekly and monthly reports prepared by the Assistant
Center Manager and delivered to the franchise owner.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (college coursework or a degree preferred), one year of retail store operations experience, strong supervisory/managerial/leadership skills, excellent computer/internet/software knowledge, and the physical ability to perform this job (lifting, bending, etc.) and understands how to listen, follow, lead, and assist the Center Manager in meeting defined targets. He or she must have a vibrant personality and be able to drive a team to achieve the best possible results. Candidates must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule of 38/40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, for this full-time employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors evaluate and help maximize customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Helps develop and implement the store marketing program
- Manages inventory
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc)
- Be a shining example of good behavior and high performance
- Additional store manager duties as needed

- Willing and able to work 40 hours per week for a 6-day work week
- The ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
- Able to help customers with boxing and packaging their materials
- Positive attitude toward all the team members and with customers.

Pay: From $4,000.00 per month
