What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at The Village Baker?
The Village Baker opened July 2011 with Sara Rathbun & Oran Rankin serving homemade baked goods. Our founders wanted to create an eclectic atmosphere that would bring our community together through delectable dishes and casual dining. Since then, our chefs have been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and new ventures into the uncharted territories of food.
Our service staff work directly with customers and with customers over the phone to place their order, fill their order and take payment. As a host/hostess it is also your job to manage customers who would like to dine in, help servers clear tables, and prepare tables for dining. You will be need to be trained and gain knowledge on our products and how it is made as well.
For this position you must being willing to work in fast paced environments, enjoy working with people, are responsible, and hard working. It is preferred that you have host/hostess experience but it is not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $14.00 per hour
