Job Posting for Director of Digital Communications at The Village of Harmony Hill, Inc.
Job Overview:
The Director of Digital Communications will employ the latest skills and strategies to expand the Village brand in Watertown and across the state of South Dakota. The results of planned communications and marketing will coincide with and support the goals of sales, the Village healthcare team, community relations, planned giving, the residents of the Village and the Village Board of Directors.
Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and optimize strategies involving social media, SEM, and SEO campaigns, as well as email-style newsletters.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance audience engagement and raise brand awareness.
Writing compelling, optimized, and error-free articles and newsletters, helping to create electronic marketing materials, such as case studies, white papers, etc.
Manage the production and distribution of promotional and/or educational videos and targeted email campaigns.
Work cross-functionally and across departments with content, communication, and marketing teams to create relevant content that will uphold the brand across multiple digital channels, including social media and website, and maintain consistency in style and messaging.
Perform analytics on campaign success, report on the results, and suggest ways to improve current and future marketing activities.
Interact with audiences on social media, including responding to messages and comments.
Upload photos, videos, etc. on social media channels and employ various social media tactics and trends to raise brand awareness and strengthen social media presence.
Manage press relations efforts, including writing communications materials.
Manage paid marketing campaigns, including paid search, and Facebook Ads.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
Experience in content creation, editing, and proofreading.
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Experience with advertising campaigns, including B2C and B2B campaigns.
In-depth understanding of SEO and digital marketing
Proficiency in Google Analytics and similar analytics tools
Knowledge of MS Office package
