We are looking for a talented Account Manager to work with us on a dynamic projects for some of our international clients.
This role it's based both at home and in our offices in Hatfield PA.
Role Overview:
Your primary responsibilities include developing and implementing a sales strategy to drive new business and maintain our existing client base.
You will establish and manage client relationships to ensure client satisfaction with the company's products and services, build relationships through providing management consulting, product development and data systems integration services to transform clients into digital businesses.
It’s very important for this position to identify and anticipate client needs, working with The Virtual Forge team to develop solutions to meet those needs and maintain long-term relationships with clients that help ensure growth in the services provided by us.
You will report to the Global Client Relationship Manager, work with Project Managers for clients needs and expectations, and work with all the organization to obtain the best results.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Develop new business by identifying client needs; work with The Virtual Forge team to structure products and services to meet those needs.
- Develop and write proposals.
- Deliver presentations to clients.
- Organize and participate in strategy and planning sessions with clients.
- Communicate “top level” program/project status and plans to clients.
- Identify opportunities within the client organization where The Virtual Forge can be a
resource; develop strategies, plans and presentations to help The Virtual Forge
assist clients with those opportunities.
- Identify and resolve client issues, problems or concerns; understand and manage
client expectations.
- Keep management and other personnel informed of opportunities and issues related
to the client.
Ongoing responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning. Develop and continuously update account plans.
- Proactive. Identify new ways to assist clients and develop applications for doing so.
- Communication. Speak, read, and write well.
- Flexibility. Affect change within both The Virtual Forge and client organizations.
- Continuous Learning. Ongoing research regarding client, client’s business, and
related services/products.
- Technology savvy. Continuously upgrade knowledge of computer systems and
applications that can assist clients.
- Special Projects. Manage and complete special projects as needed.
- Manage development and client approval of communication elements.
Essential Skills:
- Interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of the business drivers related to Data; Web-based solutions and
services, and be extremely proficient and relentless in prospecting and relationship
building throughout client organizations.
- Understanding of performance improvement services and their application within
business organizations.
- Great Organizational and Communication skills.
- Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Strategic thinking skills.
- Established relationships with major accounts preferred.
