Job Title: Production Technician - Auto BlastJob Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Blaine, MN
Shift/Hours: First shift 6:30 AM - 3:00PM Monday - Friday
Career Level: 1 year of Production exp Education: N/ASalary: $19 1st Shift
Description:
1. Load parts onto racks and process parts by operating machinery
2. Utilize hand tools and other required resources load parts on to or into racks, bins, crates, machines, etc.
3. Operate Hand Blasting stations by hand to prep parts for paint, anodization or powder coating
4. Mask parts as needed for hand blasting operation with precision and accuracy
5. Chemical process parts to clean before other finishing services or final passivation processes are completed
6. Execute the removal of material and improve the surface finish, improving the shine on stainless steel parts
7. Operate a sit down forklift
Requirements: 1. Good hand eye coordination
2. Flexibility and trainability (take/follow direction well in order to work in different departments)
3. Steel toe boots
4. Must have previous experience operating a sit down forklift
5. Understand and communicate in clear English
6. Able to operate a computer
7. Stable work history .
Physical Requirements:
1. Lifting 30lbs regularly up to 70lbs
2. Ability to use hand tools requiring fine dexterity and precision
3. Stand, sit or walk for 8 to 10 hours as business requires
4. Stooping, bending and walking with up to 50 lbs throughout workday
5. Ability to withstand odors and high disciple sounds within certain areas
6. Operate multiple machines and jobs within time constraints
7. Able to operate a computer and all of its components
