Management: Manages the activities of the purchasing team to ensure the operations team has sufficient inputs to run to schedule without downtime or rework. Assigns purchasing responsibilities to the team and re-balances workloads, as appropriate.
Supplier Relations: Maintains contact with key suppliers and schedules regular meetings to build, manage, and maintain strong relationships. Proactively coordinates upcoming contract renewals with leadership.
Tracking and Reporting: Tracks KPIs across the organization for the purchasing of parts, including supplier scorecards, leading budget projections, measuring, reporting, and executing cost improvement on a regular basis, and driving improvements in PPV.
Policy: Develops business requirements and company procurement policies and ensures the organization adheres to those policies
